Preaching the Gospel to myself

One of the meanings of righteousness = " Doing the right thing "

God's righteousness - God doing the right thing - like Him sending His son to die for us while we were still His enemies...For yet while we were still sinners He sent His son to die on our behalf

Vince's righteousness - Vince doing the right thing - like picking up a piece of trash out of my neighbor's yard...even when no one was looking and I didn't even feel like it... For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works that He had planned for in advance for us to do.

All Christians should put their faith and trust in God's righteousness and receive His salvation..."For you have been saved by faith and this not of yourselfs lest anyone boast" This is by grace and is called Justification...it's one time deal for all time...

All Christians should practice righteousness - " doing the right thing " so we become more like Christ...this is called..."Sanctification" and requires Gods' grace..." For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God has planned in advance for us to do."

With these two examples of righteousness given, which one would you trust to get you to heaven...?
