This Christmas...

Well, I hope "this Christmas" will be unlike any other. God is awesome and to think it all started with the birth of a baby in extreme poverty to teenage parents 2000 plus years ago...wow!

I hope you like the video. The question at the end is a great one. Amazingly so, it's a question God is still asking 2000 plus years later. Do you believe it? I mean do you really believe that God invites you to become His child? Listen to this:

"To all who received him (Jesus), to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" John 1:12

Gave the "right" to become...I like the word "right". "Right" has some real weight to it. Like...legal stuff. Stuff you are entitled to by law. I am glad He did not use the word "chance". Chances I tend to blow alot. "Right" tells me it's something no-one can take away from me.

Imagine that..." For God so loved the world that He gave (a gift) His one and only Son (Jesus) so that whosoever believes in Him (Jesus) would not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

God gave an awesome gift...no one can take it away from me...now that's a Christmas present worth getting excited about "this Christmas"!!

And to get excited about God...can worship be far behind? The shepherds did not think so as they gladley received the message the angels gave them, shared it and returned to worship.

Let's do the same.

Come join this Sunday @ 10:00 am at the Grove for some great fellowship and some Grove grown versions of these great worship songs:

Born in Bethlehem
God Rest ye merry gentlemen
Made to worship
God of Wonders
Were here to worship

And don't forget, Pastor Jeff has got some great stuff planned for Christmas eve. Bring the kids...bring the neighbors...bring your neighbors kids...just come...just like the shepherds did...11:00 pm at the Grove

Peace in (your heart)
